Get to know your new board of director officers

On March 1, 2017, the Touchstone Energy® Cooperatives Board of Directors unanimously elected three new officers to lead the board executive committee:

  • Roger Meader, president
  • Doug Miller, vice president
  • Deb Mirasola, secretary-treasurer

Roger is the CEO of Coos-Curry Electric Cooperative in Oregon and has served on the board since 2015. He has also been involved in Touchstone Energy as a member of the Standards & Best Practices Advisory Committee. In 2015 Doug was elected to the board, and he became an officer in 2016. He also actively promotes Touchstone Energy in his current role as vice president of statewide services for Ohio’s Electric Cooperatives. Deb is the director of communications and marketing at Dairyland Power Cooperative in Wisconsin. She has served on the board since 2015, was a member of the Brand Strategies Advisory Committee and serves as a regional member.

Charles Dalton, president and CEO of Blue Ridge Electric Cooperative, SC, and member of the Touchstone Energy board since 2012, was also elected as the at-large member of the executive committee.

Outgoing President Geoff Oldfather was thanked for his leadership on the board.

“Serving on the Touchstone Energy board of directors is one of the most memorable privileges of my professional career,” he told fellow board members. “I’ve met wonderful people from all across the spectrum of our Touchstone Energy cooperatives and, from them, have learned what it means to be truly committed to our member cooperatives and to the members at the end of the line.”
