Take to the Sky: Help Your Marketing Strategy Take Flight with Drones

Presented by:
Jason Klenklen, Progressive Rail Account Executive – Perspective Technology Division
Jason McGrade, Strategic Operations Program Manager, Touchstone Energy
Van O’Cain, Director of Public and Member Relations, The Electric Cooperatives of South Carolina
Registration Fee: $450 (Touchstone Energy Members: $300)
Class size limited to 25

It wasn’t long ago that using drone aircraft was merely a futuristic notion. Now drones are being employed to inspect and assess power lines, and electric co-ops are incorporating this technology into their operations.

But why stop at operational support? Drones are the perfect way to show your member-owners innovative angles, photographs and restoration efforts that, when incorporated into communication efforts, boost your marketing, advertising and member relations strategies.

Join Touchstone Energy on Tuesday, May 8 to understand how you can expertly (and legally!) incorporate drones into your business plan with this hands-on training session. We will provide an intro into all things drones, including rules and regulations to help you pass the FAA UAG test. You’ll analyze co-op drone case studies and participate in onsite demonstrations from certified drone pilots.

The sky’s the limit.

Electric Vehicles: Coming Soon to a Co-op Near You

Presented by:Alan Shedd, Director, Energy Solutions, Touchstone Energy Cooperatives, with representatives from co-ops engaged in strong EV programs, vehicle manufacturers, charging networks, and participants in the Drive to Connect EVent
Registration Fee: $450 (Touchstone Energy Members: $300)
Class size limited to 40

True or False: Electric Vehicles (EV) are just for urban markets.

False: This fun to drive, practical, economical and green technology can be a win for all co-ops in any service territory.

Join Touchstone Energy to discover how EVs can increase co-op electricity sales, save member-owners money and help the environment. EV experts will provide you with a market update, walk you through innovative and effective uses for your co-op and outline the elements of an EV program – from planning to roll-out.

EV manufacturers will share their views of the market – both current and future.  The operator of the largest public charging network in the US will talk about the tech, the challenges, and utility partnerships.  Learn first-hand from co-ops who are implementing EV programs.  Hear from the teams that just completed the “Drive to Connect” odyssey as they share their experiences, challenges of driving cross country and what this means to co-ops.

We will even leave you with an “EV grin” from the test driving experience of onsite EVs.

You won’t want to miss this ride.
