Get in touch with Touchstone Energy at NRECA’s Annual Meeting

Published On: February 07, 2018

If you will be in attendance at NRECA’s Annual Meeting, be sure to get up to speed with all things Touchstone Energy.

We will be kicking off the event with our 10th annual Community Service Project on Saturday, Feb. 24.  We’d like to extend appreciation in advance to all the co-op volunteers, Middle Tennessee Electric Cooperative and Tennessee Electric Cooperative Association who are making this day possible. We know it will be an inspiring and uplifting day, and be on the lookout for details in the Brand News in early March.

Monday, Feb. 26 is the first day you can visit us at the Touchstone Energy Experience to learn how you can put our programs and resources to best use at your cooperative. The states that played their hands right at last fall’s Regional Meetings will be competing one last time for bragging rights. If you are from Colorado, Iowa, Minnesota, Pennsylvania, South Carolina or Texas, be sure to stop by for this cooperative card game.

Don’t miss our General Session and Annual Meeting on Tuesday,  Feb. 27 at 8:30 a.m. Even if you can’t be there in person, you’ll want to tune into the livestream because during this session:

  • You will discover the details of our Roadmap to Best in Class
  • We will unveil the new Vintage Fresh campaign
  • The 2018 Distinguished Service Award recipient will announced
  • Former SEAL Team Six member Howard Wasdin will be speaking about his experience in combat and beyond. Howard has graciously agreed to visit our booth for a limited time after the General Session, and while he would like to visit with all of our members it will be on a first come, first served basis as time allows.

The Wednesday, Feb. 28 General Session will kick off with a video celebrating the Touchstone Energy Community Service Project, and then we will say goodbye to our cooperative friends and Nashville.
