Going electric at home is good for the world, but going electric when you travel is even better.

Electric vehicles (EVs) have come of age. Most models now have driving ranges of over 200 miles with faster charging and lower prices. And, even if the sticker price of an EV may be a little higher than its gas counterpart, studies show savings of $6,000 to $10,000 over the life of the vehicle.

It's cheaper to drive an EV because electricity is cheaper than gasoline per mile traveled. Also, EVs have fewer moving parts. They never need things like an oil change or a new muffler. Since EV braking regenerates energy back into the battery, they also need new brakes far less often. All of this results in less time in the shop.
